Wynn Yau is an illustrator and brand designer based in Toronto.
Wynn was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada at a young age. As a child, her parents nurtured her love for drawing and she often found herself lost in the worlds of Robert Munsch and Where's Waldo.
In 2017, she graduated with a BA in Honours Fine Arts and Business at the University of Waterloo. Since then, she has worked as an editorial designer, brand designer, and design consultant in a wide range of industries including restaurants, e-commerce, entertainment and healthcare.
On the side, she pursues freelance illustration and design. As the owner of Inks By Wynn, she regularly participates as a vendor at seasonal artisan markets. In 2023, she partnered with Kanga Climbing to launch the CLMBR ARTS MRKT, an independent climbing artist market from the Greater Toronto Area.
When she's not hustling, she enjoys rock climbing, browsing picture books, and spending time with her pet hedgehog Remy!
